They automatically created lots of characters and killed them in a pattern spelling out their domain name in corpses. Imagine a Matrix-like situation where "Avatar Spam" invades an area and takes over, crowding out others or avatar "bots" programmed to run without a human controlling it and constantly approaching Second Life residents with their marketing messages.
